Sudan has a long history of revolutions; hence it was expected to experience the 2012 "Arab Spring" wave of protests. But unlike the other Arab Spring revolted countries, Sudan’s wave of protest did not evolve into a revolution. It is this context that prompts the study. This book investigates the topic of Social Movements and Revolutions, or more precisely the lack thereof in Sudan. The book narrow down some of the possible reasons of why demonstrations in Sudan have yet to evolve into a revolution, and also includes identification of areas where improvement will be most likely to positively transform revolutionary acts and outcomes.
