Na-IB was organomodified using HDTMABr, TBABr and TPPBr by varying the CEC to get HDTMABr-IB, TBABr-IB and TPPBr-IB respectively. Then, the modified clay thus obtained was characterized by using XRD, SEM, FTIR, EDAX, CHNS, Particle size analyzer and their Processing, characterization of FRP nanocomposites was discussed.
