This book discusses an innovative modeling of longitudinal motion of training aircraft belongs to Egyptian Aviation Academy (EAA since 1932) using Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Interference System (ANFIS), Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA), Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and system identification (SI). It also presents the control design of the aircraft system via applying Model Predictive Controllers (MPCs) and Proportional Integral (PI) controller. Matlab / Simulink have been used to simulate the obtained models and the designed control strategy.The priority of applying ANFIS method and model predictive controllers for pilot stick control in the studied longitudinal motion of aircraft system.

Dr. Mohamed Essa graduated from Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology (I. A. E. T) in 2010. He is Assistant Prof. in Electric Power Dept., I.A.E.T. Previously was Instructor (2010- 2014) and Teaching Assist. (2014- 2018) at I.A.E.T. His research interest in control design, artificial intelligence, iot, BMS and Industry 4.0 applications.
