Nonlinear optics is one of the emerging fields in physics. This field bears the promise to replace electronic devices based on electric current with photonic devices. This book gives description of some novel nonlinear optical phenomenon. Emphasis is put on give detailed in depth into these phenomenon while minimising complex mathematics. Particularly the phenomenon of frequency mixing and optical phase conjugation have been discussed in detail.

The author has done his PhD from National Institute of Technology Jalandhar. Currently he working as assistant professor in Lovely Professional University Phagwara. He is having more than 25 research papers in international journals of repute.
