Fluid flow over a circular cylinder have been used throughout the engineering application. The aim of this study is to predict the fluid flow over a circular cylinder under a variety of Reynolds number. The results are to predict how the characteristic of the fluid flow. A self-designed model is used to do the simulation. For flow with low Reynolds number, the drag is all due to skin friction. As the Reynolds number increase, the separation of boundary starts to happen. For high Reynolds number, the eddy breaks off from the cylinder. The increasing Reynolds number will result in larger angular velocities and degeneration of vortices into turbulence.
