Through the steady introduction of sentence patterns and vocabulary, together with attaching importance to the use of exercises and drills, these two classic Japanese language texts cultivate the practical conversation skills of the learner.
Both books are written in Japanese, but in two versions ―a kanji-kana version and a Romanized version. The version required depends on the learner. If the learner needs to be able to read kanji and kana, the kanji-kana version should be selected; if these skills are not necessary, theRomanized version should be used.
