This book aims to give students of Japanese the ability to use Japanese language necessary to communicate in daily social activities.
Study practical Japanese using the included illustrations, audio files and a red plastic sheet to hide the answers and help you quiz yourself.
There are 30 units in all. Units 1 through 15 are designated Beginner Level 1, and units 16 through 30 are designated Beginner Level 2.
Once you complete Beginner Level 2, you will have knowledge of 2,000 vocabulary words and 400 kanji characters. With this, you will be able to tackle the CEFR level A1/A2, the JF Standard level A1/A2 and the JLPT level N4.
*Starting from unit 6, Beginner Level 1 units begin introducing a few kanji at a time. Beginner Level 1 introduces 100 characters, and Beginner Level 2 introduces 300 characters, including reading questions and furigana readings for all kanji.
