The intermediate link between light and sound plays a central role in the work of installation artist and composer, Hans Peter Kuhn. Since the 1980s, Hans Peter Kuhn has all over the world carried out very large-scale light and sound installations in urban zones, parks, on former industrial premises and in museums. This book is published in connection with the installation The Frozen Torchlight Parade, that Hans Peter Kuhn has realized in Odense, the birthplace of the famous Danish Poet Hans Christian Anderson, to conclude the Hans Christian Anderson Year 2005. This book comprehensively documents 19 projects by the artist from the period 2000-2005.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
born 1952 in Kiel, Germany. Long and intense career in the field of sound and light, installations, as well as in theatre and dance. He has collaborated over many years with Robert Wilson, as well as winning together with him a Golden Lion at the Biennale di Venezia in 1993. Lives in Berlin, Germany. born 1963. Studied music, musicology and sociology, curator of gallery Singuhr, founding member of Sound Art Institute, Berlin. Since 2004 curator of Tesla culture-events organising in Berlin, Germany. Born 1961 in Hamm, Germany. Studied history, philosophy and ethnology. Since 2001 curator and since 2004 assistant director at the artmuseum in Odense (Kunsthallen Brandts Klædefabrik), Denmark. lives in Berlin, Germany. Studied musicology, philosophy and library science. Works as music and culture journalist as well as curator and juror.
