Review - German Der zur Zeit des Kaisers Nero schreibende romische Satiriker Persius (34 - 62 n.Chr.) hat als viel gelesener Autor, auch als "goldener" Schulautor, von der Antike bis in die Fruhe Neuzeit hinein ausfuhrliche Kommentierungen erfahren. Uberliefert ist nur das mittelalterliche Material: neben etwa 35, einzelnen Gelehrten zuzuschreibenden Kommentaren bezeugen 74 Handschriften des 9. bis 16. Jahrhunderts anonyme Schulkommentierungen, die durch Probekollationen in funf Traditionen (A bis E) geschieden werden konnten. Im Unterschied zum bisherigen Forschungsinteresse, das den verlorenen antiken Scholien und der Genese der mittelalterlichen Kommentare galt, werden hier erstmals drei der funf anonymen mittelalterlichen Kommentartraditionen in kritischen Einzeleditionen vorgelegt: sie sollen das jeweils anders akzentuierte Rezeptionsinteresse von Persius-Lesern in unterschiedlichen Epochen, Regionen und Bildungsumfeldern dokumentieren. Erst von hier aus wird dann auch eine gesichertere Rekonstruktion der antiken und fruhmittelalterlichen Persius-Kommentierung moglich sein.
