Käthe SPRINGER, Autorin Käthe Springer, PhD, born in Vienna, studied education and psychology, followed by work in the social sector. Engaged in the publishing sector since 1986, she lives as a freelance lector and writer in Vienna. Works include publications in StadtChronik Wien (1986), Autrian Standards (1990), involvement in Floridsdorf 1945 by Kurt Landsmann (1995)- all published by Christian Brandstätter- and Tatort Kinderseele von Max Frich (1997) published by Ueberreuter.

Manfred HORVATH, Fotograf Manfred Horvath, who was born in Eisenstadt in 1962, devoted himself entirely to photography after completing a course in chemistry. He works regularly for newspapers and magazines such as Stern, Globo,The Smithonian, Abenteuer und Reisen and Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Book publications include Wein in Österreich (1992), Budapest and Dorfbilder (1993), as well as Salzburg and Die Donau (1995). Exhibitionsof of his work have been shown in Austria, France and China. He lives as a freelance photographer in Vienna.
