This book deals with water economization for summer green gram (Vigna radiata var. radiata)by providing three irrigations at branching, flowering and pod formation stages of green gram in furrow irrigation and with the inoculants of arbusucular mycorrhiza. However, in the conditions of only two irrigations available, these should be provided at flowering and pod formation stages. By providing irrigations in furrows, save up to 50 per cent water over flat bed irrigation without sacrificing economic yield of summer green gram.
