This book entitled "G.I.S.Approach for Tourism Development:Pune District Maharashtra" is a case study of research project carried out in Pune District of Maharashtra, India.Major discipline of the book is Geography. Tourism is one of the most important branch of Geography deals with tourists. Geographical Information System (G.I.S.) is a new technique which can collect,capture,storage,retrieve and analyzes of spatial as well as non spatial data. Tourist places of Pune District and G.I.S.analysis of tourist places are the two core chapters which correlate the Tourism and G.I.S. for employment generation,development and planning.Photo plates are used to view and study the information of tourist places.
