Modern day management can find the solutions for these quality control problems by using statistical version of lot inspection, known as Acceptance sampling. Since in acceptance sampling, a lot is sentenced as conforming or non-conforming, quite similar to the customer perception of quality product, based on the conformance criteria. In this book, the acceptance sampling is considered as a process, and sampling plan as a product. Like any other process this acceptance sampling is also having variation from the target objectives. By considering this reduction of variation as a fundamental concept in the present research sampling plans were modeled and analysed in the previous chapters.
