However those policies that are set up still cannot fulfill community satisfaction especially for the victims. Policies that cannot achieve community expectation are a sign that there are missing links in the mitigation and redevelopment plan mechanism. Therefore this book trying to gave suggestions for bridge the community needs and the government desires in mitigating the disaster.

Achmad Room Fitrianto is a lecturer and researcher on the Department of Islamic Economic at the State Institute for Islamic Studies of Sunan Ampel Surabaya-Indonesia. He earned Master of arts in Public Policy from Murdoch University in 2009 . His special interest is in government reform and community development.
