This book explored perceptions of ethics held by the engineering students at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), and identified any implications this has for the teaching of ethics in the AUT engineering courses. The research, based within the interpretivist paradigm, used a combination of quantitative and qualitative data to identify the perceptions students have of ethics, particularly in relation to engineering. The research was an exploratory study in nature, the main data collection tool being a purpose-designed questionnaire that sought students? views of ethics, ethics in engineering, and the factors that influenced these views.
