The author: Caroline Oblasser (PhD) studied violoncello, linguistics and Japanese. Among others she worked in the advertising industry. Her first daughter was born by Caesarean which was not planned, the second was a planned homebirth. Caroline is also the author of "The Luxury of Private Birth", a book with 250 mothers telling their home birth stories.
