Biografía del autor:
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Großmann is professor for Computer Science and Data Processing at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences. Previously, he was global research coordinator for device integration and engineering at the ABB AG German research center. In this role, he completed decisive work on the FDI technology and headed two working groups in FDI standardization. Dipl.-Ing. Michael Braun manages EDD development in the area of process instrumentation at Siemens AG in Karlsruhe. He is head of the Profibus EDDL working group and is active in the group of the same name in the HART Communication Foundation. For FDI, he is a member of various working groups. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Benjamin Danzer is professor for automation technology at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. Previously, he worked at ABB AS in Norway and at the ABB AG German research center in the fields of device integration, device description technologies and industrial communication and on the FDI standard components for visualizing device descriptions. Dipl.-Inf. Alexander Kaiser is head of Product Management at CodeWrights and responsible for FDI and EDDL based products and services. He is member of various working groups within the FDI and FieldComm Group activities (Specification, Tools & Components) since the beginning of the standardization activities. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Riedl is head of the department ICT & Automation at the research institute ifak Institut für Automation und Kommunikation e.V. Magdeburg. Since several years he works in the fields of device integration. For FDI, he is involved in quality assurance.
