The artist finds beauty in the everyday – thus disposable bags, aluminum plates, or bronze panels treated with acid turn into artistic tools. The works of the American artist HUGO MCCLOUD (*1980) are represented in numerous collections, such as the Brooklyn Museum and the National Museum of African American History and Culture. He has had solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles and Turin.
