Die Privatsammlerin Ingvild Goetz konnte über die Jahre eine Medienkunstsammlung aufbauen, die mittlerweile zu den bedeutendsten weltweit zählt. Die Publikation Fast Forward präsentiert und kommentiert eine unübertroffene Auswahl an Medienarbeiten: Videos, Videoinstallationen und Filme aller bedeutender Vertreter des Genres. Der Schwerpunkt der gezeigten Werke konzentriert sich dabei auf aktuelle Produktionen der neunziger Jahre bis heute. Es ist ein persönliches Anliegen der Sammlerin, auch die Arbeiten der ganz 'jungen Generation' zu zeigen.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Mark Nash is an independent curator, film historian and filmmaker with a specialisation in contemporary fine art moving image practices, avant-garde and world cinema. He is currently a professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Peter Weibel is an artist, curator and theoretician.
