Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Zaha Hadid wurde 1950 in Bagdad geboren. Sie absolvierte ein Studium an der Architectural Association of Architecture in London und wurde auch Mitglied des Office for Metropolitan Architecture. Sie übte zahlreiche Lehrtätigkeiten und Gastprofessuren aus und erhielt Preise für Wettbewerbe am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin 1986, für ein Kunst- und Medienzentrum in Düsseldorf 1989 und für das Cardiff Bay Opera House 1994. 1979 bekam sie die Architectural Design Gold Medal für ein Apartment am Eaton Place in London. Derzeit arbeitet sie in New York und Wien.
