This book gives a terse account of Ruth’s loyalty to Naomi and how she was able to accomplish her spiritual and earthly role through patience, sharing, being ethical, respectful, and one of the most devoted servants of God. As it reads in the Holy Bible, Ruth was able to please the Lord. Naomi extended wisdom to Ruth, and was able to do this with all of the atrocities that was experienced throughout her life, including losing her husband and sons. Of course, Ruth could have taken a similar path as Orpah by returning to her homeland. However, she remained steadfast, and received her blessings from the Lord. "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God" (Ruth 1:16 KJV). Dedicating this book to all women, Geraldine Harrison agrees that there are many "Ruths" out there among us!

Biografía del autor

Geraldine Harrison, reared in Plainview, Texas, is a graduate of Texas College. She holds an A.A. degree in General Studies and the B.S. degree in Religion. In addition, she has studied Divinity at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and is currently enrolled in Virginia University of Lynchburg.
