Herr Farmer studierte von 2003 bis 2007 Informationsmanagement und Informatik an der Loughborough University und schloss von 2008 bis 2010 seinen Master in Business Administration an der University of Wales in Newport ab. Derzeit ist er bei der Golf Union of Wales, dem nationalen Dachverband, beschäftigt.
