The book contents provide the concise method to determine the water quality. Principally,there are two types of properties of water, physical and chemical. The physical parameters are pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total solid (TS), total dissolved solid (TDS), total suspended solid (TSS), odor, color, turbidity and temperature. The techniques to determine the physical parameters are described shortly. The chemical parameters that are alkalinity, hardness, chloride, residual chlorine, sulphate, dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), nitrate, phosphorus,iron.
