In this book, windowing techniques, one of the most widely used techniques used for design of FIR filters are discussed and a comparative analysis is presented on that basis. Two modified window functions are shown with reduced main lobe width and other notable characteristics compared to Blackman and Blackman-Harris window. Modified window technique is further applied in Signal Processing of RADAR applications.
