Inhaltsangabe

Algebra is a fascinating, If you want to see how you just have to try. It is fun but not easy. One of the fascinating things is the way in Galois theory the connection between algebraic structures like groups and fields are linked to the basic algebra that everybody did in the earliest life in mathematical knowledge. This books attempts to highlight such a link where I talk about introduction to Galois groups and the fundamental theorem of Galois theory.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

I have been teaching for the last 10 years, 7 of those at the University of Nairobi, where I am currently a Senior Lecturer. Teaching staff in African universities are usually overloaded with work. A course I have really enjoyed teaching is Field Theory and Introduction to Algebra. I have taught this courses from 2007 to 2016, hence this book.
