Inhaltsangabe

The main purpose of this book is to obtain statistical vii estimation for an adaptive type-II progressive scheme from EWD. This book consists of fourth Chapters. Chapter 1, contains some basic concepts which will be used throughout this book. Also it shows the historical survey on some studies in theoretical and application which have been made on EWD. Chapter 2, is concerned with the estimation problem (point and interval estimations) for the EWD using an adaptive type-II progressive censored sample. We used the maximum likelihood, Bayes, and parametric bootstrap methods for estimating the unknown parameters as well as some lifetime parameters (reliability and hazard functions). Chapter 3, Based on an adaptive type-II progressive censored sample, we present Bayesian prediction intervals for future order failure times of components whose failure times have the EWD. We further consider two sample Bayes prediction to predicting future order statistics and upper record values from EWD. Chapter 4, is concerned with the problem of estimation the coefficient of variation of a population based on an adaptive type-II progressive censored sample.
