There has recently been a growing interest among the largest Brazilian firms to better understand the performance outcomes of their internationalization strategies. Measuring organizational performance plays a very important role in translating corporate strategy into results thus developing strategic plans, evaluating achievements and organizational objectives, compensating managers, managing and allocating resources. Is there more to financial measures when evaluating organizational performance? This study focuses on the new trends in performance measures and correlates their practice to boosting a firm's Internationalization degree as well as its Foreign EBITDA/Total EBITDA ratio. Three Brazilian firms in different ranking and different strategies in terms of internationalization are compared and investigated in depth.
