This book helps to better understanding between Diabetes and Periodontal disease. However the Periodontal microbial pathogens such as anaerobic bacteria (Treponem denticola, Tannerella forsythia, Actinomycetum comittans,Prevotella intermedia) have make relation with the metabolic disorder of Diabetes. Alterd lipid levels cause dis regulation of cytokine response. Declined cytokine response increases the chance of infection there by causing Periodontal disease. This work used for the better treatment process of Periodontal disease due to the caused by anaerobic microbial pathogens.
