A real time based approach for image compression have been developed with the help of hierarchical decomposition and prediction. Keeping in view, the need of hour, this book should help to understand the consequences of hierarchical decomposition and prediction on predicted and reconstructed images. His research interests include Digital Image processing, Digital Signal Processing, Biomedical Image Processing.
