Cerebral Ischemia is a common neurological disorder which is a major cause of mortality and disability worldwide. The central aim of this book is to develop tools based on EEG parameters which characterize EEG spectra (as described above) for accurate and rapid classification. The tools will be developed and tested on rat models. This study may lead to a comprehensive basis for analysis and characterization of human brain based on EEG signals.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Dr. Sudip Paul is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, India since June 2012. He received Ph.D degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi with specialization in Electrophysiology and brain signal analysis.
