Cellulase, an enzyme capable of hydrolyzing cellulose into simpler sugars, holds great potential for various industrial applications. This study focuses on the production of cellulase using Aspergillus species and its application in the removal of cellulose from jackfruit husk, a commonly available agricultural waste. The enzymatic production process involves the cultivation of Aspergillus strains under optimized fermentation conditions, including pH, temperature, and nutrient availability. The extraction and purification of cellulase from the fungal biomass are achieved through various separation techniques, such as centrifugation and chromatography. This study demonstrates the potential of Aspergillus derived cellulase in the efficient removal of cellulose from jackfruit husk, highlighting the enzyme's importance in the valorisation of agricultural waste. The findings contribute to the development of sustainable and eco-friendly approaches for cellulose degradation, promoting the utilization of renewable resources for various industrial applications.
