We have chosen to present an application of the quantum chemistry for studying of sorption processes of actinide complexes in the nature. Due to the strong interdisciplinary impact of this field in numerous research areas and industrial scale branches such as, for example, environmental analytical chemistry, in particular, radiochemistry; coordination chemistry of f-elements; organometallic chemistry and catalysis; Public's security and; nuclear technologies; we hope that our contribution highlights successfully the significant prospective, which this approach provides when theoretically, real environmental biogeochemical processes are designed, namely using it ability to predict accurately the molecular structures, thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of surface interacting systems.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

B. Ivanova (b. 1974, Sofia) has been assoc. prof. in SU (2006–2010; Bulgaria) and 'researcher' at INFU in TU Dortmund (2010–2011, Germany). Her project grants have been from DAAD, DFG and AvH Foundation (Germany; 2006, 2007–2009, 2010). She has 230 sci reports. She has received Rectors’ award (SU, 2003) and Piagor Award (MES, Bulgaria; 2009).
