There are many books on electron microscopy, however, the study of polymers by EM needs special techniques, precautions and preparation methods, including ultramicrotomy. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Prof. em. Dr. Goerg H. Michler war langjähriger Leiter von Arbeitsgruppen in der Chemischen Industrie, des Institutes für Werkstoffwissenschaften und des Institutes für Polymerwerkstoffe e.V. an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg und ist Vorsitzender der Heinz-Bethge-Stiftung für angewandte Elektronenmikroskopie in Halle (Saale).
