Soil acidification is emerging as environmental problem due to its effect on agricultural productivity, biodiversity and water quality. It is a natural process escalated by mismanagement of agricultural practices. Soil acidity affect agricultural productivity through elemental toxicity and reducing bioavaliblity of nutrients.
