This design proposes a range of solutions for creating a successful assisted living facility for Alzheimer's patients. The site not only offers the patients a protected environment, but it also places them within a community where they can feel welcomed and appreciated. The program of the building serves as therapy and allows the patients to have a sense of freedom as well as purpose, such as assisting with the child care portion of the program. Finally, the sensory packed environment is a peaceful and pleasurable situation that allows the patients to enjoy the final stages of life.

is a graduate from the Wentworth Institute of Technology's Master of Architecture program. She has work experience in historic preservation, childcare, commercial interiors, religious buildings and hospitality design. It is her ambition to one day be a principle of a design-build company.
