IPTV enriched by value added services provided by the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is an emerging trend. Personalized services result in having numerous user accounts. The effort of managing these accounts is partly transfered to the user and partly solved by identity federation. In this book an approach will be introduced that combines a common way of HTTP based authentication with simplified sign-on and sign-out for bootstrapping. This includes the development and integration of the Generic Bootstrapping Architecture (GBA) into an IMS- based IPTV system and additionally the interworking with a Liberty Alliance Identity Federation Framework.Über den Autor:
