Shredding Simulation of End of Life Consumer Electronic Products: Computer Modelling Methodology - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Imagine you live in an environment with free of contamination of lead, mercury, arsenic of cathode ray tubes, computer chips and cell phones. Image you can reduce your production cost dramatically by reusing metals, polymers recycled from end-of-life consumer products. Image you can integrate the recyclability into your product design and thus make cheap, safe and environment friendly products. This is the future that Dr. Yun Xing envisions in Shredding Simulation of End of Life Consumer Electronic Products, which unapologetically argues that end of life electronic products should be recycled and algorithm should be developed to integrate recyclability into product design.Working from the frame of matrix based algorithm, Yun Xing outlines a simulation structure carefully devised to systematically investigate shredding phenomenon in the recycling procedure, and gives experimental procedure coupled with the simulation methodology. In the face of a challenge that recycling is unquestionably solution for end of life electronic products in the future, Simulation of End of Life Consumer Electronic Products offers a discussion of future recycling and product design in terms of environment protection and economic advantage of recycling. By systematic simulation, Yun Xing takes one step closer to the tantalizing returning of recycling end of life electronic products.
