GUI s code has some characteristics thatdistinguish it from the rest of the project code.Generating test cases from the GUI code requiresdifferent algorithms from those usually applied intest-case generation. We developed several GUI testgeneration automated algorithms that do not need anyuser involvement and that ensure code or branchcoverage in the generated test cases. The test casesare generated from an XML GUI model or tree thatrepresents the GUI structure.
