This book answers the question to what extent the classic model of criminal justice is able to meet the challenges posed by that concept.

This book has been prepared by a team of authors affiliated to the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland). Teresa Dukiet-Nagórska is a professor at the University of Silesia and head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology. Her research interests include in particular problems of substantive criminal law and medical law.
