This textbook describes modern methods for developing enterprise-wide information systems. The "Architecture of Integrated Information Systems" (ARIS) is used as a framework for the development of business process models for industrial companies. For the processes of logistics, product development, information and co-ordination, the ARIS-architecture serves as a basis for a description from the functional, organizational, data and process viewpoint.
