Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Ernst Mayr ist Professor emeritus für Zoologie an der Harvard University. Der 94jährige Wissenschaftler, der in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen ist, zählt zu den bedeutendsten Biologen der Welt.
