STEVEN N. SHORE is Professor at Osservatorio Astrofisico di Arcetri, University of Pisa. Prior Assignments included Indiana University, University of Notre Dame, Arizona State University and Goddard Space Flight Center, Maryland, where he continues to serve as an astrophysicist.
He is the author of The Tapestry of Modern Astrophysics and prominent member of NASA teams for the Hubble Space Telescope missions. He has been honored with awards from NASA for work on Hubble High Resolution Spectrograph, and by Goddard Space Flight Center, Maryland.
