Catalysis from abzymes to zeolite: the successful encyclopedia now in its third, updated and enlarged edition with 50% more content in three volumes!
Designed as a first-stop source for chemists, biochemists, physicists, and engineers whose permanent or occasional interest lies in catalysis, the encyclopedia is at once comprehensive, concise and easy to use. More than 200 top scientists from all over the world have contributed a total of over 8000 entries with 3300 cross references - providing important information, 20,000 citations and numerous process schemes on all aspects of biocatalysis, heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, as well as on analytical methods and techniques, and industrial processes.
The international significance of this work is underlined by the fact that the keywords are also given in German and French.
From reviews to previous editions:
"In summary, this work offers exactly what its subtitle promises: a very precise encyclopedia of catalysis. Off all the topics in the field of catalysis that I have looked for in this book, not one has been missing."
Rainer St?rmer, BASF AG, Ludwigshafen, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.
"...this book is a must for all libraries in institutes with research groups active in catalysis. Indeed this reference work will be of value to all senior academic and industrial scientists with an interest in one or more of the (converging) areas of catalysis."
Stanley M. Roberts, University of Liverpool, ChemBioChem
"The content is well-written, suitable for both undergraduates and researchers."
E-Streams
"I would highly recommend Catalysis from A to Z for all scientists and engineers whose work is related to the field of catalysis. Specifically, if you are from an interdisciplinary related area and naturally not too familiar with all vocabulary used in the field, you will find it particulary useful to have this encyclopedia on your bookshelf."
J?rg Libuda, Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, Berlin, ChemPhysChem

Gebundene Ausgabe. Zustand: Sehr gut.
