Scattering methods as important tools for the characterization of the structure and dynamics of polymers provided the theme for the 60^th meeting in the series of the Prague Meetings on Macromolecules held in July, 2001. Highlights included discussion of the following topics:

• Applications of these methods to a variety of polymeric materials and systems
