Magnus Ressel ist Forschungsstipendiat der Gerda Henkel Stiftung am Lehrstuhl f�r die Geschichte der Fr�hen Neuzeit an der Goethe-Universit�t Frankfurt am Main. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der politischen Geschichte, der Sozial- und Wirtschaftsgeschichte sowie dem fr�hneuzeitlichen Kulturkontakt zwischen der christlichen und muslimischen Welt.
