This handbook is not meant to replace the formal text books of anatomy and kinesiology. The aim is to present the essential anatomical and functional knowledge of different areas in human body through simple illustration, which are easy to remember. Each chapter starts with a simple diagram of the skeleton of the region, range of motion and the different muscle groups. Details of each muscle regarding its origin, insertion and nerve supply are mentioned. In addition, muscle group function and testing are also shown. A large effort is made to keep content of the book as concise and its size as compact as possible, to fit in the pocket. I wish that my colleagues will find this handbook beneficial and useful.
