The papers selected cover some of the difficulties facing translators in rendering the Qur’an and the strategies they adopt to produce a communicative and acceptable translation, and how this can be of benefit to translators of religious texts especially those of the Qur’an and novice translators who are interested in this field.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Prof. Khaled Tawfik, Professor of Translation Studies and Linguistics, the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. He taught at ten universities including the AUC, NYIT and KAU in Saudi Arabia. He is also a member of the Writers' Union of Egypt and published more than thirty five books.
