The controlled drug delivery system has been the subject of intense research in both academic and industrial aspects. The extrusion-spheronization technology is more advanced method to generate newer release profiles by microporous with tailor made properties by changing the composition and morphology of the components. There is an ample scope to continue research on the modifications of natural and synthetic based matrix drug delivery system using different model drugs to meet the demand of newer challenges in the field of pharmaceutical industry with a newer series of microporous NDDS was generated and compositions are optimized.

Dr.RAJESH.N is serving as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry.
