Hospital management need particular approaches to solve any problem in term of effectiveness and efficiency. From all available approaches, lean is an approach which is considered as the most successful. Lean aims at creating value added and eliminating waste. Lean implementations in hospital found that the solve of problem involve: decreasing length of stay, increase in the number of patients handled, decrease in errors and incidents, decrease in queue time, increase in patients’ satisfaction, increase in employees’ satisfaction, decrease in overtime-hours, decrease in stock budget and decrease in travelled distance or travelled time of patients and staff.
