Peter Curwen was formerly Professor of Business Economics at Sheffield Hallam University and is currently Visiting Professor of Mobile Telecommunications at the Strathclyde Business School where Jason Whalley is a Reader specialising in information technology and its dissemination. They have jointly published a large number of books and articles on telecommunications with an increasing emphasis upon mobile communications. They also lecture and consult in this field on an international basis.
